I offer Professional Supervision to Signed Language Interpreters, Spoken Language Interpreters, Lipspeakers and Allied Healthcare Professionals. Essentially, I provide supervision for anyone who is employed in a people-facing profession, where sensitive information may be disclosed or where challenging issues might arise.
In 2001, after working as a CSW and then Welfare Rights Officer for Deaf people, I qualified as an interpreter with a PG Diploma from UCLan and went on to work as a member of the interpreting team at Nottinghamshire Deaf Society. I qualified as a Professional Supervisor in 2016, having undertaken the 360 Supervision ‘Diploma in Supervision’. I currently supervise a range of professionals, predominantly (but not exclusively) sign language interpreters. As a Professional Supervisor, I am accountable for my supervisory practice, and have one-to-one supervision every 6 weeks.

Outside of my working life, I enjoy keeping active by dancing (lindy/jive), yoga, and walking.
