I offer Professional Supervision to Signed Language Interpreters, Spoken Language Interpreters, Lipspeakers and Allied Healthcare Professionals. Essentially, I provide supervision for anyone who is employed in a people-facing profession, where sensitive information may be disclosed or where challenging issues might arise. I qualified as a Professional Supervisor in 2016, having undertaken the 360 Supervision ‘Diploma in Supervision’. I currently supervise a range of professionals, predominantly (but not exclusively) sign language interpreters. As a Professional Supervisor, I am accountable for my supervisory practice, and have one-to-one supervision every 6 weeks.
I qualified as a BSL/English interpreter with a PG Diploma from UCLan in 2001. In May 2025, after 25 years in the profession, working across a wide variety of domains, and practicing in both an in-house and freelance capacity, I made the decision to retire from interpreting.
